KEMAS TALK 2019
Creative Technology & Multimedia Division MARA (BTKM) plays an important role in the 21st Century Learning implementation program which includes the 4C’s skills which are communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking.
Emphasis is given on the use of digital technology in 21st Century Learning for various levels of education including pre-schools, primary, secondary and tertiary education.
BTKM has implemented the 21st CLD program for early childhood with pre-school students at three (3) TABIKA KEMAS centers in Kampung Jijan, Negeri Sembilan, Kuala Selangor and Kompleks Kediaman Kakitangan Awam Jalan U-Thant. The final session of this program will be held in Serkam, Melaka.
Other Early Childhood Programs by BTKM were also held in SK Jalan Batu, Kuala Lumpur and Tadika MARA which involve 5 and 6 years old pre-schoolers in the centres. In this program, students are exposed to 21st Century teaching methods and the use of online teaching and learning tool such as Brush Ninja. By using this application, students will be able to enhance their creativity by creating simple animations using their own imagination in line with the STREAM curriculum.
The next collaboration with KEMAS-MARA will be on programs to empower KEMAS teachers to use technology in teaching and learning.
